Indico

As with all rec growers in this state these days it seems, Indico is also very much hit or miss (and in my experience, unfortunately, mostly miss). I stopped buying their bud a few years ago after getting tired of it being so dry and lifeless (the market wasn’t yet nearly as awful as it is now), but then I decided to try their Banana OG that was recommended by the budtender, and it was truly fantastic — fat purple nugs, nice cure, left my fingers sticky, smelled and tasted delicious, and the effects were on point. I was genuinely impressed with that one. Jokes on me, however, because I picked up some of their Bananaconda the other day, and it is the complete opposite in every way — so dry is crumbles to dust, muted smell and taste, harsh smoke, and minimal effects.

Their grow is immaculate and the flower reflects it. Blueberry Bacio, Ice Cream cake are fantastic. I got to try some of their newer stuff recently, Gelonade and Dumpster Dive, and was blown away. The dumpster dive had a super unique terp profile I keep going back for.

I’ve tried several Indico strains and was blown away. The buds are perfectly trimmed and the smoke is smooth with rich flavors — Ice Cream Cake and their wubs are next level. Easily some of the best flower I’ve had in Colorado.

In my opinion, second best producer on the market. Little bit more variation, but most of the time grown well, trimmed well and nice genetics.
